Ryan Thomas Gosling, a man known for his nearly
‘Perfect’ face, was born on November 12, 1980. He is a Canadian actor and
musician.
Gosling started early as an actor with Disney Channel's
The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse way back in 1993. He kept on getting acting gigs as
a child and appeared in ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark?’ and Goosebumps.
After having a fruitful time as a child artist,
Gosling’s first starring film role was as a Jewish neo-Nazi in The Believer in
2001. Of course the fame followed as Gosling starred in other hits of the early
2000s like Murder by Numbers, The Slaughter Rule, and The United States of
Leland.
But what shot Gosling to fame was Half Nelson in 2006
for which he became the first person born in the 1980s to have been nominated
for the Best Actor Oscar.
Following this role, Gosling established himself as
one of the finest actors of his time. He emerged as a Box Office star and was
searched over the internet again and again; both for his looks and his work.
Gosling’s passion for music led him to make a solo
recording called ‘Put me in a car’ in 2007. He formed an Indie rock band the
same year named ‘Dead man’s bones’ with his friend Zach Shields. Gosling was
also roommates with illustrious singer Justin Timberlake during The Mickey Mouse
Clubhouse days.
His passion for what he is doing has helped Ryan Gosling to have $75 million net worth.
His academic life was not something to be proud of and
he had to be home schooled by his mother as he would practice moves from First
Blood on fellow children that led to his suspension from school.
His personal life revolves around animals as he is an
animal lover and his two daughters. Gosling previously resided in New York City
with his mixed-breed dog, George. He dated Sandra Bullock, who worked with him
in a movie. Later, he fell into a relationship with Rachel McAdams followed by
a relationship with Eva Mendes and had two daughters with Mendes.
If you happen to be in Beverly Hills, California, you
will surely come across Tagine, a Moroccan restaurant, owned by Gosling. He
takes personal interest in Tagine and every now and then overlooks the restaurant’s
menu.
His
love for animals made him work with PETA making every possible attempt to
encourage improved methods of chicken slaughter in restaurant chains like the
KFC and McDonald’s.
